Candy Bell, affectionately known as Joybell, is a 185 Elf Year old elf with a radiant spirit and an important role at the North Pole. As the Grand Scrollkeeper of Santa’s ‘Naughty or Nice’ List, she ensures every child is judged fairly and accurately. Her journey to this esteemed position is a tale of enthusiasm, hard work, and a perpetual smile.
When Candy Bell was a young elf, she eagerly sought a position at Santa’s Workshop. Despite being younger than most elves who worked there, her relentless enthusiasm caught Santa’s eye. After a discussion with her parents, Santa welcomed her as a part-time apprentice.
Candy tried various roles in the workshop, always giving her best effort even when she wasn’t a natural fit. Her cheerful disposition earned her the nickname Joybell among her peers. Her true calling emerged when the aging Grand Scrollkeeper needed an assistant. Joybell excelled at keeping Santa’s ‘Naughty or Nice’ list up-to-date, accurately determining which children were behaving well, trying their best, or being downright naughty. When the Grand Scrollkeeper retired, Candy Bell stepped into the role, vowing to maintain fairness and integrity.
After her shifts, Candy Bell returns to her delightful home, Peppermint Manor. The house is as cozy as it is charming, adorned with candy canes and sweet treats, reflecting Candy’s joyful nature. Inside, it’s a warm and inviting space, perfect for gatherings with friends. Whether they’re cooking dinner together, watching Christmas movies, or seeking her advice, Candy’s friends always feel welcome.
Candy’s reputation for honesty and fairness extends beyond her work. Fellow elves often turn to her for help in resolving disputes. With a keen understanding that misbehavior often stems from misunderstandings or good intentions gone awry, Joybell guides others to talk, listen, and apologize sincerely.
